Harry Whittington launched his training career in September 2012 despite having only 5 horses at the launch, but he soon landed his first winner, Dubai Kiss, at Newbury in the WBRC Pam Le Mottee Junior Bumper Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race, with early birds rewarded at 100/1, and even SP punters benefitting from the generous 50/1 at the off. On Boxing Day, 26th December 2017 Harry received Saint Calvados from Venetia Williams. The horse had won 3 races in France, but had not raced whilst in Venetia's stable, yet within 4 days of receiving the horse Harry guided it to success in the Halloween Trophy Handicap Chase at Newbury, following up in the Betfred Limited Handicap Chase at the same course, and completing the treble in Grade 2 Kingmaker Novices Chase at Warwick.
Harry struck up a good relationship with Arzal, coaxing him to 5 successes, culminating in the Mersevrail Manifesto Grade 1 Novices Chase at Aintree in 2016. Further multiple successes followed with the likes of Rouge Vif, Simply the Betts and Stick with Bill, meaning the future for Harry, his wife Alice, and his team looks bright.
